Indian Railways Institute Of Disaster Management (IRIDM)

Indian Railways Institute of Disaster Management (IRIDM) was envisioned in the year 2003 as HLC recommendations in the year 2003 stipulating an Institute Specialising in state of the art Rescue, Medical relief and Restoration techniques. W.e.f. 01.04.2021 IRIDM, Bangalore is brought under administrative control of IRIMEE/JMP (CTI) with the aim that the Institute should achieve Global Standards. As per the present mandate, the institute is required to gear up for capacity building in Disaster Management of 15000 Officers and over one Million Staff of Indian Railways
